Σε δεκάδες πόλεις της Ιταλίας πραγματοποιήθηκαν μεγαλειώδεις συγκεντρώσεις και πορείες με συγκρουσιακό χαρακτήρα, στο πλαίσιο της γενικής απεργίας που καλέστηκε σε αλληλεγγύη με τον Παλαιστινιακό λαό και την παλαιστινιακή αντίσταση. Να σταματήσει η γενοκτονία από το κράτος δολοφόνο του Ισραήλ, να διακοπεί η πώληση όπλων από την νεοφασιστική κυβέρνηση της Ιταλίας και να επιβληθούν κυρώσεις, ήταν κάποια από τα αιτήματα των διαδηλωτών/ριών. Με αποφασιστικότητα, ορμή και οργή ο κόσμος που βγήκε στους δρόμους απέδειξε ότι η καταστολή δεν μπορεί να σταματήσει τους κοινωνικούς και ταξικούς αγώνες και σε πολλές πόλεις η αστυνομία τράπηκε σε υποχώρηση.
Με σύνθημα «Ας Τα Μπλοκάρουμε Όλα», φοιτητές/ριες, σωματεία, εργάτες/ριες και αλληλέγγυος κόσμος κάλεσαν σε γενική απεργία τη Δευτέρα 22/9. Σε πάνω από 70 πόλεις της χώρας, χιλιάδες διαδηλωτές/ριες πλημμύρισαν τους δρόμους και προχώρησαν σε μπλοκάρισμα εισόδων πανεπιστημίων, σταθμών, λιμανιών και σιδηροδρόμων. Παρά την προσπάθεια των κρατικών μηχανισμών να καταστείλουν τις κινητοποιήσεις, ο κόσμος επέμεινε και συνέχισε δυναμικά προχωρώντας σε συγκρούσεις με την αστυνομία, με χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα τον σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό στο Μιλάνο.
Η ακροδεξιά φασιστική κυβέρνηση της Μελόνι, όπως και άλλες χώρες όπως η Ελλάδα, επιθυμώντας να παίζουν το ρόλο δορυφόρου στον Τραμπ και τον Νετανιάχου, συνεχίζουν τις μπίζνες όπλων, στρατιωτικού εξοπλισμού, τουρισμού και real estate με το γενοκτονικό καθεστώς.
